I accept out-of-network coverage through a third party Mentaya. Contact your insurance company to find out details about your reimbursement.

How Mentaya works for you

  1. You pay the regular fee at each session.
  2. After your session, I confirm the visit in Mentaya, and a claim is created and sent in for you.
  3. They charge you a processing fee (around 5%), and you don’t have to fill out insurance forms or submit superbills yourself.
  4. When your out-of-network benefits apply, your insurance uses those benefits to reimburse a portion of your session cost (after any deductible is met).
  5. Your insurance company then sends the reimbursement directly to you, usually by check or direct deposit, depending on how your insurance is set up.
  6. If there’s an issue with a claim, Mentaya works on it in the background and may refund their own processing fee if your insurance ultimately won’t accept the claim.

Steps you’ll take to get started

  1. Contact me to receive a secure Mentaya link.
  2. Click the link and create a simple Mentaya account with your basic information.
  3. Enter your insurance details so Mentaya can check your out-of-network benefits and estimate what you might get back.
  4. Complete any remaining account steps and make sure I am connected to your Mentaya profile.
  5. From there, you just attend your sessions and pay as usual, while Mentaya automatically submits your claims in the background.
